The St Kilda Blues Festival is mainly a venue based festival, celebrating the spirit of blues, the music of the blues and all things connected. St Kilda has a unique group of venues of all sizes that champion  music and entertainment. For these three days it’s all about the Blues

Billy TK Jnr the iconic Kiwi Blues & Rock guitarist has toured the United States, Europe, Australia, Japan, the Pacific and New Zealand over a career spanning 25 years. Billy TK Jnr headlined his own show last December at the world famous Buddy Guys Legends Chicago to amazing accolades and reviews. He then opened up for Buddy Guy a month later and was invited on stage twice with him & then picked up by Buddy Guy Radio as an artist.

Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Riley started playing the guitar at age nine. Dave Riley found himself in the 70’s playing bass, and occasionally sitting in, with Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, and Howlin Wolf. Continuing the family biz in his band, his son Dave “Yahni” Riley, Jr. is on bass, drummer Sam Carr, and Arkansas harp man, John Weston. Dave Riley enjoys music, it lights up his face and radiates from his voice.
