The St Kilda Blues Festival is mainly a venue based festival, celebrating the spirit of blues, the music of the blues and all things connected. St Kilda has a unique group of venues of all sizes that champion  music and entertainment. For these three days it’s all about the Blues

Fronted by multi award winning blues artist Marco Goldsmith, on guitar and lead vocals. Blue Sunday play original tunes ,penned by Marco Goldsmith plus Aussie ,American, English Blues-rock thrown into the mix.

Cross Bones Boogie is a raunchy, dirty 3 piece slide guitar boogie band. The band is inspired by the blues of the greats – Robert Johnson, Son House and Muddy Waters, but puts its own spin on the classics. Original songs feature heavily too. Riff heavy and groove laden, Crossbones Boogie is a fresh new edition to Melbourne’s Blues Scene.

Jerome Smith has had a fantastic music career. Born in New York City, he’s worked with groups like The Manhattans, The Persuaders, Eddie Floyd, and Rufus Thomas. He co-wrote and recorded as a member of the New York rock group “Body Bag” which led to work with Mick Jagger, followed by gigs with Divinyls and then Keith Richards. Jerome moved to Sydney Australia 1996 where he has since worked with Bridie King, Billy Thorpe, Jackie Orsaczky, Jimmy Barnes and Ian Moss.
