Ezra Lee Band

Ezra Lee is a piano-pounding singer from Tamworth, New South Wales—the Country Music Capital of Australia. Known for his rockin' blues, boogie, and honky-tonk sound, Ezra performs night after night with his band, bringing his high-energy show to audiences across Australia and around the world.

Ezra’s musical journey began at the age of 14 when he joined the legendary Australian pub band Johnny Green’s Blues Cowboys, touring with the band for six years. In 2009, he signed with Melbourne’s Preston Records and released two original albums: Out Of The Valley and You Can’t Stop A Freight Train, Ezra’s first full-length album, engineered by Grahame Thomas. That same year, Ezra traveled to Barcelona, Spain, to perform at the Screamin’ Rockabilly Festival, opening for Bill Haley’s Original Comets.

In August 2010, Ezra Lee joined a new stage show about Sun Records in Memphis, performing alongside James Blundell, Nick Barker, Dave Larkin, and Doug Parkinson. The following year, in April 2011, Ezra performed at the iconic Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, where he had the honor of supporting Jerry Lee Lewis.

Ezra’s 2012 release, Cashed Up 'n' Crazy, was followed by a European tour, where he also recorded his latest album, Coal Fired Man, in Berlin for Rhythm Bomb Records.

In 2013, Ezra and his band had the privilege of opening for and backing the Queen of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson, on her six-date Australian tour.

By 2014, Ezra made the move to Melbourne, where he continues to perform widely. In April 2016, he toured LA and Nevada with his band and released the album Boomerang Boogie. These days, Ezra holds a residency on the legendary Queenscliff Blues Train and at Dogs Bar in St Kilda, along with regular appearances at festivals across the country.
