The St Kilda Blues Festival is mainly a venue based festival, celebrating the spirit of blues, the music of the blues and all things connected. St Kilda has a unique group of venues of all sizes that champion  music and entertainment. For these three days it’s all about the Blues

Jump Cats play an uptempo style of blues that really jumps. It was popular in the forties and was a precursor of rhythm and blues and early rock and roll. A four piece band with Mark ‘Harpo’ Greenway on guitar, Jeff Walters on double bass, Alf Mott on the skins and Chris ‘Stibbo’ Hanger blues harp and vocals. Swing, sway and have a good time jumping along to these guys.
