BLUES FESTIVAL

Born of a love of both the blues and our hometown, the St Kilda Blues Festival is a venue-based showcase of local blues talent with a sprinkling of international acts.

40 plus bands/artists, 70 plus gigs along Acland St, Fitzroy St and Blessington St Precinct along with roaming street performers.

Blues music originating from Chicago, New Orleans, the Mississippi Delta, Memphis, Texas, etc. With weeping guitars and harps and basses. Musical styles will encompass slide, fingerpicking, folk, punk, alt blues country blues, a broadening of appeal across the board to attract a wider audience. The tunes will emanate from every corner of the historic downtown St Kilda.
